Perched nearly 1,500 feet above sea level on the southern edge of El Yunque National Rainforest, this spacious private room offers breathtaking mountain views and a connection to nature that is immediate and difficult to describe. Room One is located at the end of the upper-level landing, closest to the sun deck and well stocked shared kitchen, offering both privacy and easy access to common areas. The adjacent sun deck features tables, chairs, and great conversation spaces where guests often gather to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Step on your private balcony, the views stretch across the lush jungle canopy of El Yunque National Rainforest. Crisp mist drifts through the trees, tropical birds call from the forest below and clouds pass by at eye level and it’s not uncommon to see a rainbow form in front of your eyes.
The scenery here feels almost unreal, especially in the morning when mist drifts through the trees and the forest begins to wake. Many guests notice the scent of wild ginger carried on the mountain breeze, a little reminder that you are truly deep in the heart of the rainforest.
Inside, the room features a comfortable queen bed, a private bathroom with a hot shower, ceiling fan and a full-size desk with lamp if you need a peaceful workspace while working remotely from paradise.
At night, fall asleep to the rushing sounds of the river and the lullaby of coquí frogs. In the morning, wake to a chorus of tropical birds and sunlight filtering through the forest. El Yunque is a birder’s paradise and the soundtrack of the rainforest begins right outside your door.
