Isabel Segunda is quiet, picturesque, clean and reminiscent of earlier times. The shaded Plaza is in the center of town with the mayors office on the corner, two churches, and a community center on the others. The main street runs for a few blocks to the ocean where the post office, bank and a number of stores and restaurants line both sides. One street over, parallel to the main one, is another street of business, restaurants and the town library.

Vieques is best known for having the brightest bio bay in the world. Vieques has no transportation back to mainland Puerto Rico after 6 PM so in order to see the bio bay one must stay the night, but FAR BETTER is to stay a few nights and see the fabulous beaches as well. Make it easy, make it fun!
